The Jewish History of Spain by Red Juderías de España

The main objective of the course «The Jewish History of Spain» is to learn about the development of the Jewish community in the kingdoms of the Iberian Peninsula from its arrival in the Roman period until the expulsion of the Jews from the kingdoms of Castile and Aragon in 1492. Consisting of thirteen modules that chronologically describe the life of the Jews and their communities throughout the Middle Ages, we analyze concepts such as juderias, aljamas, conversos, judaizers, etc.

The study of this course will allow you to historically contextualize the Jews in Spain and to obtain the necessary tools to guide with solvency inside the Jewish quarters of the Red de Juderías de España Caminos de Sefarad.
